Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve the Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Property Condemnations Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. Deputy City Clerk Veralrud submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. Director of Building & Safety John Twiss advised that he had received one tele- phone call, however, it was not in the form of a protest, merely to inquire on the costs involved for one of the demolitions. Mr. Twiss stated the proper notices have been sent to the property owners involved and the Notices of Ad- ministrative Proceedings have been filed with the County Recorder's Office re- lating to the three demolitions as outlined in his report. Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone in the audience desired to speak on this matter. Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West F Street, Colton, asked why there were no hearings held on these demolitions. Mr. Twiss replied that no one had requested this matter be brought before the Housing Advisory & Appeals Board, and there was no need for a hearing. Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, the Public Hearing was terminated. Unanimous vote. Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution Nos. 4137 and 4138. Unanimous vote.
