Recommend denial. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve the <br />Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Property Condemnations <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Deputy City Clerk Veralrud submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Director of Building & Safety John Twiss advised that he had received one tele- <br />phone call, however, it was not in the form of a protest, merely to inquire on <br />the costs involved for one of the demolitions. Mr. Twiss stated the proper <br />notices have been sent to the property owners involved and the Notices of Ad- <br />ministrative Proceedings have been filed with the County Recorder's Office re- <br />lating to the three demolitions as outlined in his report. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone in the audience desired to speak on this matter. <br />Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West F Street, Colton, asked why there were no hearings held <br />on these demolitions. <br />Mr. Twiss replied that no one had requested this matter be brought before the <br />Housing Advisory & Appeals Board, and there was no need for a hearing. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, the Public Hearing was <br />terminated. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution <br />Nos. 4137 and 4138. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4137 - RESOLUTION APPROVING AND CONFIRMING REPORT OF COLTON BUILDING <br />OFFICIAL FILED PURSUANT TO SECTION 1601 OF THE UNIFORM HOUS- <br />ING CODE, ORDINANCE NO. 1579, OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AND THE <br />ASSESSMENTS OF CHARGES AGAINST REAL PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE <br />THEREWITH. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4138 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DETER- <br />MINING AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENT BY INSTALL- <br />MENTS. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Labor Relations Files <br />Memorandums of Understanding <br />City Manager Trevino reviewed his memorandum dated July 28, 1981, requesting con- <br />sideration and approval of Resolution No. 4139 and Memorandums of Understanding <br />AUG 4 1981 <br />
