No. 4164 <br />City Manager Trevino referred to a memorandum from Recreation Director Max Lofy re- <br />garding an increase in hourly wages for part-time personnel for a Playground Direc- <br />tor, Playground Leader, and Community Center Aide, as outlined in Resolution No. <br />4164. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4164. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO <br />4164 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMEND- <br />ING RESOLUTION NO. 4113, FIXING THE COMPENSATION FOR PART- <br />TIME, HOURLY EMPLOYEES AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF MINI- <br />MUM WAGES. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Retirement <br />Res. No. 4165 <br />City Manager Trevino referred to correspondence and data, and Resolution No. <br />4165, relating to the disability retirement of a local safety member. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4165. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4165 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO DETER- <br />MINE THE DISABILITY FOR RETIREMENT PURPOSES OF A LOCAL SAFETY <br />MEMBER. <br />tton Community Center <br />Mr. Trevino reported on a request from Mrs. Effie M. Botts that the City sign Letters <br />of Intent on behalf of the Senior Citizen Produce Market in order to receive $100 <br />from the Office of the Aging, which is left over from a 1981 allotment of Title III <br />funds, to be used towards liability insurance for the current year, July 1982 to <br />July 1983, so that the senior citizens can continue selling produce at the Hutton <br />Center as they have done in the past. <br />Mr. Trevino said that City Attorney Edwards has reviewed this request and has in- <br />dicated it would be proper for the City Council to authorize this procedure. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, approving and auth- <br />orizing execution and submittal of Letter of Intent and payment of funds as requested <br />by the Senior Citizen Produce Market. Unanimous vote. <br />Library <br />Mr. Trevino made a status report on Staff's attempts to place the existing Colton <br />Library on the State of California Historic Site Register, and stated that Staff <br />will follow this item and as soon as it is approved in Sacramento, the City Council <br />will be so informed. <br />This was an information item only and no action was taken. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Elections <br />Res.
