MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: Boards & Commissions 17 Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to continue the matter of appointments to the Recreation and Parks Commission to the next regular Council Meeting, March 3, 1981. Unanimous vote. Agreements Mayor Gonzales stated in regard to the proposed Contract between the City of Colton and Robert Trevino, City Manager, he would like to read letters received from individuals who are in favor of such a Contract and commend the services of Mr. Trevino. Mayor Gonzales then read in full letters from Mr. Walter S. June, Sr., Mr. Chuck King of Chuck King & Associates, Mr. Joseph C. Bonadiman of Joseph E. Bonadiman & Associates, and Mr. Dean Carter. Mayor Gonzales advised that this matter will be continued and discussed at an Adjourned Council Meeting to be held next Tuesday, February 24, 1981, at 6:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers. PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Conditional Use Permits P. C. Res. No. 981 Planning Director Aguilera reported on a Conditional Use Permit application requested by Cutler Steel Company to construct four open shed industrial canopies, which will be open in overall design and be utilized for storage of materials and tools, on property located at 2040 Steel Road in an M-14 zone. Mr. Aguilera advised the proposed project is consistent with the General Plan and industrial zoning uses, and is compatible with the immediate environment. Mr. Aguilera stated the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this matter, February 10, 1981, and recommended appoval of the FEB 17 1981
