C.
City Manager Trevino reported from his memorandum that the Local Agency Forma-
tion Commission has advised that while certain annexations to the City of Colton
were finalized, the process was not complete due to the fact that the City and
the County had not formally agreed to the share of tax distribution, and the re-
sult was that no ad valorem taxes were transferred from the County to the City.
Mr. Trevino continued this involves a total of 17 annexations and represents an
annual increase in ad valorem taxes in excess of $13,000 based on estimated
current tax revenues.
Mr. Trevino concluded Staff therefore recommends approval of Resolution No. 4080,
reflecting the exchange of property tax revenues.
Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Reso-
lution No. 4080. Unanimous vote.
RESOLUTION NO. 4080 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF
PROPERTY TAX REVENUES TO BE EXCHANGED BETWEEN AND AMONG
THE CITY OF COLTON AND THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO RE-
SULTING FROM THE JURISDICTIONAL CHANGE DESCRIBED BY LAFC
NOS. 1739, 1749, 1769, 1773, 1774, 1775, 1781, 1813, 1826,
1827, 1828, 1829, 1860, 1868, 1886, 1897, AND 1978.
FEB 17 1981
