f7Bids <br />Request authorization to advertise for Bids on Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />renovation. <br />Charitable Organizations <br />Annual Candy Sale, January 21 to February 16, 1981, San Andreas Council of <br />Camp Fire Members. <br />Claims <br />Frank E. Hewitt, Sr., versus City of Colton. Recommend denial. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve the Con- <br />sent Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Street Maintenance <br />Alley Paving <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported on a letter of <br />protest received from Ramon Robles dated January 14, 1981. <br />Director of Community Services Calvin Wang stated the reports and cost analysis <br />have been submitted for the alley paving project between 9th and 10th Streets <br />and "N" and "O" Streets. Mr. Wang said if Council concurs, it would be in order <br />to adopt Resolution No. 4067 confirming the costs. <br />Councilman Rehrer asked if Mr. Robles has been contacted about this matter. <br />Mr. Wang stated that all of the property owners concerned with this particular <br />alley paving project will be notified about the assessment costs. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to terminate the Public <br />Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4067. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO <br />4067 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON CONFIRM- <br />ING CERTAIN REPORTS OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS. (CHAPTER <br />27, DISTRICT NO. 80-20) <br />Street Maintenance <br />Alley Paving <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported that no protests <br />or objections had been received. <br />Mr. Wang reported on the alley paving project between "F" and "G" Streets and <br />12th and 13th Streets, at a cost of $2,069.76, stating that the reports and <br />cost analysis have been submitted. Mr. Wang concluded that if Council concurs, <br />it would be appropriate to adopt Resolution No. 4068. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to terminate the Public <br />Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4068.
