No. 978 <br />Mayor Gonzales read a letter dated January 6, 1981, from Norma Jean Rivera, Executive <br />Director of San Hidalgo Institute, requesting a postponement of the matter concern- <br />ing Planning Commission Resolution No. 978, due to the illness of Attorney Juan <br />Jimenez who would be representing San Hidalgo Institute in this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, approving request to <br />postpone the matter concerning Planning Commission Resolution No. 978 to the next <br />regular Council Meeting of Tuesday, January 20, 1981. Unanimous vote. <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Street Maintenance <br />Alley Paving <br />Director of Community Services Calvin Wang reported on three alley paving projects <br />that were completed by City staff on December 31, 1980, concerning the alley between <br />9th and 10th Streets and "N" and "0" Streets, at a cost of $1,768.64; the alley be- <br />tween "F" and "G" Streets and 12th and 13th Streets, at a cost of $2,069.76; and <br />alley between "E" and "F" Streets and Pennsylvania Avenue, at a cost of $601.96. <br />Mr. Wang stated that Staff would recommend approval of Resolution Nos. 4063, 4064, <br />and 4065, setting the date of Tuesday, January 20, 1981, for public hearing on the <br />costs for these projects. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Resolution <br />Nos. 4063, 4064, and 4065.
