Councilman Rehrer asked if the Committee on the Library and the Library Board have73 <br />met to consider all of the proposals. <br />Councilwoman Garcia responeded the Library Committee is scheduled to meet this <br />week and that the Committee is comprised of various representatives, however, the <br />total Library Board is not on the Library Committee. <br />Discussion followed as to whether or not the total Library Board should be included <br />as part of the Library Committee. <br />Dr. Renald J. Anelle, Library Board Chairman, stated the Library Board definitely <br />wants to be included in the overall planning for the new Library, that it is there <br />desire to have Marty Hornburg, City Librarian, also included for she has valuable <br />firsthand recommendations. <br />Councilwoman Garcia stated that although there are only two Library Board Members <br />on the Library Committee, no one is precluded from participating in the meetings <br />and that the Committee Membership had been held to a minimum to prevent it from <br />becoming too cumbersome. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 1000 <br />NPlanning Director Aguilera reported this is an application for a Conditional Use <br />Permit by Mr. Paul Shadid, for the purposes of building a single family residential <br />structure of approximately 1,900 square feet, on a one acre of vacant land. <br />7 <br />Q Mr. Aguilera stated the Planning Commission has reviewed this application and <br />Q recommends approval through Planning Commission Resolution No. 1000. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Planning <br />Commission Resolution No. 1000. Unanimous vote. <br />Planninq Commission Resolution No. 1001 <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported this item involves the prezoning of Annexation <br />No. East 33, the recommendation is to set a public hearing for July 21, 1981. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to set Planning <br />Commission Resolution No. 1001 for Public Hearing on July 21, 1981. Unanimous vote. <br />Planninq Fees <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported the Planning Commission held a public hearing to <br />consider the various Planning Fees in light of the adoption of a new Zoning Ordinance. <br />Mr. Aguilera stated a survey was conducted and the results are included in the <br />Council Material and based on the survey and the Planning Commission public hearing, <br />new Planning Fees are recommended in Resolution No. 4131. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4143. Unanimous vote. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION NO. 4131 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, FIXING AND ESTABLISHING FEES FOR FILING <br />APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY ORDINANCE 1602, ESTABLISHING <br />OTHER MISCELLANEOUS FEES FOR SUBDIVISIONS AND PARCEL <br />MAPS AS REQUIRED BY ORDINANCE 1520, ORDINANCE 1402 <br />AND ORDINANCE 974 AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 4051. <br />RECREATION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />City Manager Trevino reported Recreation Director Lofy has requested that the <br />Recreation and Parks Commission meetings be suspended during the summer months <br />as has been done in the past and because of personal illness. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve the request <br />for suspension of summer meeting of the Recreation and Parks Commission. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />CITY MANAGER REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Expenditure <br />Heating and Air Conditioning <br />City Manager Trevino reported on the status of the heating and air conditioning <br />JUL 7 1981 <br />
