Councilman Rehrer asked if the Committee on the Library and the Library Board have73 met to consider all of the proposals. Councilwoman Garcia responeded the Library Committee is scheduled to meet this week and that the Committee is comprised of various representatives, however, the total Library Board is not on the Library Committee. Discussion followed as to whether or not the total Library Board should be included as part of the Library Committee. Dr. Renald J. Anelle, Library Board Chairman, stated the Library Board definitely wants to be included in the overall planning for the new Library, that it is there desire to have Marty Hornburg, City Librarian, also included for she has valuable firsthand recommendations. Councilwoman Garcia stated that although there are only two Library Board Members on the Library Committee, no one is precluded from participating in the meetings and that the Committee Membership had been held to a minimum to prevent it from becoming too cumbersome. PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Planning Commission Resolution No. 1000 NPlanning Director Aguilera reported this is an application for a Conditional Use Permit by Mr. Paul Shadid, for the purposes of building a single family residential structure of approximately 1,900 square feet, on a one acre of vacant land. 7 Q Mr. Aguilera stated the Planning Commission has reviewed this application and Q recommends approval through Planning Commission Resolution No. 1000. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Planning Commission Resolution No. 1000. Unanimous vote. Planninq Commission Resolution No. 1001 Planning Director Aguilera reported this item involves the prezoning of Annexation No. East 33, the recommendation is to set a public hearing for July 21, 1981. Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to set Planning Commission Resolution No. 1001 for Public Hearing on July 21, 1981. Unanimous vote. Planninq Fees Planning Director Aguilera reported the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the various Planning Fees in light of the adoption of a new Zoning Ordinance. Mr. Aguilera stated a survey was conducted and the results are included in the Council Material and based on the survey and the Planning Commission public hearing, new Planning Fees are recommended in Resolution No. 4131. Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution No. 4143. Unanimous vote. PLANNING COMMISSION NO. 4131 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, FIXING AND ESTABLISHING FEES FOR FILING APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY ORDINANCE 1602, ESTABLISHING OTHER MISCELLANEOUS FEES FOR SUBDIVISIONS AND PARCEL MAPS AS REQUIRED BY ORDINANCE 1520, ORDINANCE 1402 AND ORDINANCE 974 AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 4051. RECREATION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: City Manager Trevino reported Recreation Director Lofy has requested that the Recreation and Parks Commission meetings be suspended during the summer months as has been done in the past and because of personal illness. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve the request for suspension of summer meeting of the Recreation and Parks Commission. Unanimous vote.
