1.2 6 COUNCIL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 17, 1981 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales <br />presiding. <br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. <br />Also present were City Manager Trevino, City Attorney Edwards, and Deputy City <br />Clerk Veralrud. Absent was City Clerk Ramos. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Minutes <br />November 3, 1981 <br />Warrants <br />12936 through 13209 <br />101821 through 102000 <br />November 13, 1981 inclusive <br />Civic Center <br />Request approval of Change Order No. 1, $100, accept project as 100% complete <br />and authorize filing and recording of Notice of Completion. <br />Contracts <br />Award of Contract to Grisson and Johnson, Inc., $69,672, Traffic Signal Project, <br />Mill Street and Pennsylvania Avenue (Project No. 80-2), authorize payment to <br />CALTRANS of $1,860, authorize process of Change Orders not to exceed ten percent <br />(10%) of contract amount. <br />Bids <br />Award of Bid to San Diego Wood Preserving Company, $8,577.52, wood light poles, <br />Electric Department. <br />Bids <br />Award of Bid to Spencer and Jones, $24,197, Pre -Engineered Building, Electric <br />Yards. <br />Special Assessments <br />Report from City Treasurer on Assessment District Tax Rolls. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve Minutes <br />from Adjourned Council Meeting held November 10, 1981, as submitted by City Clerk <br />Ramos. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamations <br />National Family Week, November 22 through 28, 1981. Read in full by Mayor Gonzales <br />and accepted by Mrs. Marion Bush. <br />AFL-CIO Centennial, week of November 15, 1981. Read in full by Mayor Gonzales and <br />accepted by Mr. Lawrence J. Kelly. <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Planning Commission <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, ratifying reappointment <br />of Mrs. Shirley Face to the Planning Commission.
