OR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: Resolution of Commendation Mayor Gonzales read in full a Resolution of Commendation, honoring Mary Rosalie Caldwell for her dedicated service to the community and City and wishing her happiness in her retirement. The Resolution was accepted by Mrs. Caldwell. Boards & Commissions Cemetery Commission Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, ratifying reappointment of Mrs. Darlene Trimble to the Cemetery Commission. Unanimous vote. Proclamations Domestic Violence Awareness Week Mayor Gonzales read in full a Proclamation declaring the week of October 12 through 18, 1981, as "Domestic Violence Awareness Week". The Proclamation was accepted by Lyla McEachren of Option House in Colton. National Lupus Week Mayor Gonzales read a Proclamation declaring October 18 through 24, 1981, as National Lupus Week. The Proclamation was accepted by Mr. Jack Syphers of the American Lupus Society. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Personnel Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. Personnel Officer Trevino submitted the Affidavit of Posting. Mr. Trevino referred to job descriptions for the proposed positions of Consumer Service -Meter Repairman, for the Electric Department, at the salary range of 15, and Park Maintenance Trainee, for the Cemetery Division, at the salary range of 3. Mr. Trevino stated if the Council Members concur with amending the City's Pay and Classification Plan for these two positions, it would be in order to adopt Resolution No. 4146. Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak in favor of or in opposi- tion to this matter. Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to terminate the Public Hearing. Vote was unanimous. Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution No. 4146. Unanimous vote. RESOLUTION NO. 4146 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMEND- ING RESOLUTION NO. 4141, ESTABLISHING A PAY AND CLASSIFICA- TION PLAN FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF COLTON, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1981 AND JULY 1, 1982. CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDAT Fire Department City Manager Trevino reported from a memorandum dated September 30, 1981, regard- ing the purchase of a video cassette recorder and camera by the Fire Department which was provided in the current budget at an amount of $2,000.
