Unanimous vote. <br />OR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Resolution of Commendation <br />Mayor Gonzales read in full a Resolution of Commendation, honoring Mary Rosalie <br />Caldwell for her dedicated service to the community and City and wishing her <br />happiness in her retirement. The Resolution was accepted by Mrs. Caldwell. <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Cemetery Commission <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, ratifying reappointment <br />of Mrs. Darlene Trimble to the Cemetery Commission. Unanimous vote. <br />Proclamations <br />Domestic Violence Awareness Week <br />Mayor Gonzales read in full a Proclamation declaring the week of October 12 through <br />18, 1981, as "Domestic Violence Awareness Week". The Proclamation was accepted by <br />Lyla McEachren of Option House in Colton. <br />National Lupus Week <br />Mayor Gonzales read a Proclamation declaring October 18 through 24, 1981, as National <br />Lupus Week. The Proclamation was accepted by Mr. Jack Syphers of the American Lupus <br />Society. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Personnel <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Personnel Officer Trevino submitted the Affidavit of Posting. <br />Mr. Trevino referred to job descriptions for the proposed positions of Consumer <br />Service -Meter Repairman, for the Electric Department, at the salary range of <br />15, and Park Maintenance Trainee, for the Cemetery Division, at the salary range <br />of 3. Mr. Trevino stated if the Council Members concur with amending the City's <br />Pay and Classification Plan for these two positions, it would be in order to <br />adopt Resolution No. 4146. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak in favor of or in opposi- <br />tion to this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to terminate the <br />Public Hearing. Vote was unanimous. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4146. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4146 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMEND- <br />ING RESOLUTION NO. 4141, ESTABLISHING A PAY AND CLASSIFICA- <br />TION PLAN FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF COLTON, EFFECTIVE <br />JULY 1, 1981 AND JULY 1, 1982. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDAT <br />Fire Department <br />City Manager Trevino reported from a memorandum dated September 30, 1981, regard- <br />ing the purchase of a video cassette recorder and camera by the Fire Department <br />which was provided in the current budget at an amount of $2,000. <br />OCT 61981 <br />
