Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve the two fold solution recommended by Staff. Unanimous vote. Personnel Building & Safety City Manager Trevino reported on a report from Building & Safety Director, John Twiss, in which Mr. Twiss proposes that the position of Building Inspector/ Maintenance Coordinator be abolished and that an additional position of Building Inspector be established. Mr. Trevino reported that no added expense is involved as the occupant of the abolished position will be transferred to the newly created position. Councilman Hayes asked if this matter had been discussed with the Employee Association. City Manager Trevino responded that it had not, however, he did not foresee a problem. 101 Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve the recom- mendation of staff to abolish the position of Building Inspector/Maintenance Coordinator and to establish an additional position of Building Inspector. Unanimous vote. CLOSED SESSION: Personnel/Litigation The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 7:53 p.m. on matters dealing with personnel and possible litigation. The Council reconvened at 8:27 p.m., all members present. Resolution No. 4145 City Attorney Edwards reported the City Council in Closed Session approved Resolution No. 4145, on a vote of three with oneabstention.
