3 S COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 5, 1982 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Pro Tem <br />Hayes presiding. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Hayes led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by City Manager Robert Trevino. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, and Garcia. Also present <br />were City Manager Trevino, City Attorney Edwards, and Deputy City Clerk Veralrud. <br />Absent was Mayor Gonzales and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Mayor Pro Tem Hayes stated that Item Nos. 5 and 6 under the Consent Calendar will <br />be taken care of separately. <br />Minutes <br />December 15, 1981 <br />Warrants <br />13754 through 14025 <br />102335 through 102541 <br />December 31, 1981 Inclusive <br />Social Service Endorsements <br />Camp Fire - San Andreas Council, Annual Candy Sale, January 20 through <br />February 15, 1982. <br />Parcel Map Files <br />Approve Parcel Map 6729, accept Street Improvements in City's System, and <br />file Notice of Completion on this project. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Consent <br />Calendar as outlined. Unanimous vote. <br />Street Maintenance <br />City Attorney Edwards outlined the revisions that had been made in Resolution No. <br />4174 relating to alley paving between "N" and "0" Streets and Rancho Avenue and <br />Fourth Street, advising that Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 4174, <br />setting this matter for Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 19, 1982. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Resolu- <br />tion No. 4174. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4174 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CAUSE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF <br />SECTION 5870 ET SEQ., OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS <br />CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. <br />Petitions <br />Mr. Edwards referred to a memorandum concerning a petition request for a four- <br />way stop sign at Laurel Avenue, Olive Place and Coburn Street, and revisions <br />made in the memo under Item No. 4, b and c, replacing Coburn Street with Olive <br />Place, advising that Staff recommends approval of this item as revised. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve Petition <br />request for four-way stop sign at Laurel Avenue, Olive Place and Coburn Street, and <br />implementation of these improvements. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, ratifying reappointment <br />of Mr. Dean Carter to the Utilities Commission.
