Unanimous vote,f;j RESOLUTION NO. 4362 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON PROCLAIMING A LOCAL EMERGENCY. Transfer of Funds Res. No. 4363 City Manager Elliott read from a memorandum regarding a transfer of funds in the amount of $58,788.60, to be transmitted to the Bank of America Corporate Agency in Los Angeles for final payment, the ten percent retention fee, to the Contractor, Rosetti Construction Com- pany for the Library construction. Mr. Elliott recommended approval of Resolution No. 4363, approving the transfer of funds. Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve Resolution No. 4363. Unanimous vote. Q Permits Q City Manager Elliott referred to a letter dated August 23, 1983, from the Asociacion Mexicana Trabajadores Unidos regarding the annual Mexican Independence Fiestas on September 16, 17, and 18, 1933, and dances to be held on the weekends of September 3,4, 10, and 11, 1983, and also a Parade to be held on Sunday, September 18, 1983, at 2:00 p. m. Mr. Elliott said Staff would recommend approval of the request with the exception of the Parade, which would require a Permit, and can be taken up at the next regular Council Meeting, September 6, 1983• Councilwoman Garcia requested that the Parade be considered now also, so that the committee has enough time to make all of the required ar- rangements, subject to the approval of the Police Department, with re- gard to routes, etc. Mr. Elliott stated he would amend his recommendation accordingly. Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, approving request of Asociacion Mexicana Trabajadores Unidos for annual Mexican Independence Fiestas, subject to approval of Parade Permit and routes by the Police Department.
