Unanimous vote,f;j <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4362 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON PROCLAIMING A LOCAL EMERGENCY. <br />Transfer of Funds <br />Res. No. 4363 <br />City Manager Elliott read from a memorandum regarding a transfer of <br />funds in the amount of $58,788.60, to be transmitted to the Bank of <br />America Corporate Agency in Los Angeles for final payment, the ten <br />percent retention fee, to the Contractor, Rosetti Construction Com- <br />pany for the Library construction. <br />Mr. Elliott recommended approval of Resolution No. 4363, approving <br />the transfer of funds. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Resolution No. 4363. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4363 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE 1983-84 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET. <br />Ordinance No. 1651 <br />City Attorney Edwards read in full Ordinance No. 1651, which per- <br />(10 tains to a zone change, Index No. A-4-83. <br />Q Permits <br />Q <br />City Manager Elliott referred to a letter dated August 23, 1983, <br />from the Asociacion Mexicana Trabajadores Unidos regarding the <br />annual Mexican Independence Fiestas on September 16, 17, and 18, <br />1933, and dances to be held on the weekends of September 3,4, 10, and <br />11, 1983, and also a Parade to be held on Sunday, September 18, 1983, <br />at 2:00 p. m. <br />Mr. Elliott said Staff would recommend approval of the request with <br />the exception of the Parade, which would require a Permit, and can be <br />taken up at the next regular Council Meeting, September 6, 1983• <br />Councilwoman Garcia requested that the Parade be considered now also, <br />so that the committee has enough time to make all of the required ar- <br />rangements, subject to the approval of the Police Department, with re- <br />gard to routes, etc. <br />Mr. Elliott stated he would amend his recommendation accordingly. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, approving <br />request of Asociacion Mexicana Trabajadores Unidos for annual Mexican <br />Independence Fiestas, subject to approval of Parade Permit and routes <br />by the Police Department.
