ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Mrs. Mandy Karr, 1265-3/4 Mt. Vernon Avenue, submitted a list of items purchased for the Community Centers with funds obtained from the sale of a french fryer, originally bought for the Hutton Center. Mrs. Karr gave copies of the list to the City Council. CLOSED SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 8:13 P. m., to discuss N Personnel Matters, and reconvened at 8:48 p. m., all Members present. RAMOS, CMC City Clerk City of Colton ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING March 11, 1983 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 5:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. ROLL CALL: Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Garcia, and Mayor Huntoon. Also present were City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilman Rehrer. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Housing & Community Development Block Grant: Res. Nos. 4295 & 429 Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and re- ported that no protests or objections had been received. Planning Director Aguilera reported from his memorandum dated March 9, 1983, as follows: Staff has been informed by the State Department of Housing and Community Development that the City may be eligible for a $600,000 grant from the Community Development Block Grant program for the 1983-84 fiscal year. The program is essentially the same as when it was administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, with the basic eligible activities falling into the three major catagories of housing, public facilities and economic development.
