<br />City Manager Elliott read in full a Proclamation declaring the Month
<br />of May, 1983, as NATIONAL HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MONTH.
<br />Councilwoman Connie Cisneros read in full a Proclamation declaring the
<br />Month of May, 1983, as NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MONTH. The Proclamation was
<br />accepted by Acting Police Chief Paul Connolly.
<br />Councilman Rios read in full a Proclamation declaring April, 1983,
<br />as PUBLIC SCHOOLS MONTH, and proclaiming Tuesday, April 19, 1983, as
<br />DAY OF THE TEACHER. The Proclamation was accepted by Mr. Charles
<br />Jordon, of the Colton Joint Unified School District.
<br />Mayor Huntoon announced that later this week he would be attending a
<br />meeting of the Aslar Lodge 11306 Free and Accepted Masons of Colton,
<br />where he would present the Proclamation PUBLIC SCHOOLS WEEK - "A
<br />TORCH FOR FREEDOM".
<br />Councilman Rehrer read in full a Proclamation declaring Sunday,
<br />April 24, 1983, as FEDERATION DAY. The Proclamation was accepted
<br />by Mrs. Daniels of the Colton Womens Club.
