Recommend denial. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve the Consent Calendar, deleting Item Nos. 6, 7 and 8. Vote was unanimous. MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS Proclamations Mayor Huntoon read in full a Proclamation declaring August 7 through 13, 1983, as Municipal Treasurer's Week, and presented it to Margaret Berkebile, City Treasurer. City Clerk Ramos also presented Mrs. Berkebile with a white orchid from the Bank of America. Councilman Rios read in full a Proclamation honoring the 1984 Little League Baseball World Series, which was accepted by Mr. Tom Boyle. Mr. Boyle encouraged the Council Members and those present to attend the Little League Playoff games, advising that the Colton Ken Hubbs Little League is still ahead. CORRESPONDENCE: Mayor Huntoon referred to a letter from San Salvador Catholic Church requesting use of the Hutton Community Center for Parish Renewals on various weekends starting September, 1983, and continuing through June, 1984. City Manager Elliott stated this is a continuation of a previous request from the Church, there are no problems with scheduling, and Staff recommends approval of the request. Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve request from San Salvador Catholic Church for use of the Hutton Com- munity Center for Parish Renewals on the dates outlined. Vote was unanimous. PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Zoning City Manager Elliott reported on Item Nos. 6, 7 and 8, which con- sisted of Zone Change requests to be set for Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 16, 1983• Mr. Elliott advised that the properties in question are owned by Nick Coussoulis and Martin Matich, and are located primarily in the Reche Canyon area. Mr. Elliott gave a brief description of the properties and boundaries. AUG 1983
