Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Resolutions <br />Mayor Huntoon read in full a Resolution of Congratulations on be- <br />half of Cleon Knisely, for taking action in a time of emergency. <br />Mr. Knisely accepted the Resolution and thanked the City Council. <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to <br />ratify Mayor's appointment of Mr. Henry Mendoza to the Utilities <br />Commission. Unanimous vote. <br />Mayor Huntoon advised a letter has been received from Mr. Wes Hayden <br />stating he would have to decline the appointment to the Civil Serv- <br />ice Board. Mayor Huntoon then asked if any of the Council Members <br />had appointments they would like to make. <br />Movad by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, ap- <br />pointing Mrs. Margaret Matich to the Civil Service Board. Vote was <br />unanimous. <br />Toastmasters Club <br />A representative of the local Toastmasters Club presented the City <br />Council with a plaque, designating their appreciation for Colton's <br />interest in the Club. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Personnel <br />Res. No. 4396 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Personnel Officer Elliott submitted the Affidavit of Posting and re- <br />ported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Mr. Elliott reported on the amendments to the City's Classification <br />Plan involving revision of the job description for Street Foreman and <br />a new job description for the classification of Cemetery Caretaker, <br />which will be a part-time position. <br />Mr. Elliott said Staff recommends approval of both job descriptions <br />and adoption of Resolution No. 4396, amending the compensation for <br />par; -time, hourly employees. <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, the <br />Public Hearing was terminated. Unanimous vote. <br />
