<br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS:
<br />Proclamations
<br />Mayor Huntoon announced that this evening the City of Colton was honoring Rich
<br />Dauer, who was born and raised in Colton, and plays Second Base for the Balti-
<br />more Orioles, the 1983 World Series Champions.
<br />Mayor Huntoon then read in full a Proclamation declaring December 6 through 10,
<br />1983, as RICH DAUER WEEK, congratulating him on a tremendously successful and
<br />outstanding baseball career.
<br />Mayor Huntoon then introduced each member of Mr. Dauer's family, and Council-
<br />woman Cisneros presented the women with bouquets of red roses.
<br />Other gifts and awards presented to Mr. Dauer were as follows:
<br />The keys to a 1984 Ford Thunderbird presented by Mrs. Jan Vickers from L. J. Snow
<br />Ford.
<br />A letter, read by Mr. Charles Gabriel, Vice -President and Manager of Redlands
<br />Federal Savings and Loan, designating the establishment of the Rich Dauer Athletic
<br />Scholarship Fund.
<br />Gifts and novelties from the Movieland Frontier Town.
