Personnel Officer Elliott submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported that no protests or objections had been received. Personnel Officer Elliott advised the purpose of the Public Hearing -- this evening is to amend the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations involving revisions to Rule X, Probationary Period, and these revi- sions have been reviewed and approved by the various employee organi- zations. No. 1653 City Manager Elliott introduced Ordinance No. 1653 for First Reading, advising this Ordinance is a companion document to Resolution No. 4375, which amends Ordinance No. 1122 and Paragraph A of Section 2.48. 080 of the Colton Municipal Code relating to Probationary Period. Mr. Elliott concluded Staff recommends First Reading of Ordinance No. 1653. Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to waive full reading and pass First Reading of Ordinance No. 1653. Unanimous vote.
