No. 4375 <br />Acting Mayor Pro Tem Rehrer declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Personnel Officer Elliott submitted the Affidavit of Posting and <br />reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Personnel Officer Elliott advised the purpose of the Public Hearing <br />-- this evening is to amend the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations <br />involving revisions to Rule X, Probationary Period, and these revi- <br />sions have been reviewed and approved by the various employee organi- <br />zations. <br />Mr. Elliott concluded Staff,,A c�bmmends approval and, if Council con- <br />curs, a motion to adopt Resclut on''No. 4375 would be in order. <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Acting Mayor Pro Tem Rehrer advised that the Petition submitted to the <br />City Clerk's Office from residents of the La Loma Hills Ranchos re- <br />garding cable television will be continued to the next regular Council <br />Meeting, November 1, 1983. <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Acting Mayor Pro Tem Rehrer stated the items listed on the Agenda <br />under the Community Services Director's Reports and Recommendations <br />will also be continued to the next regular Council Meeting, November <br />1, 1983. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Personnel <br />Ord. No. 1653 <br />City Manager Elliott introduced Ordinance No. 1653 for First Reading, <br />advising this Ordinance is a companion document to Resolution No. <br />4375, which amends Ordinance No. 1122 and Paragraph A of Section 2.48. <br />080 of the Colton Municipal Code relating to Probationary Period. <br />Mr. Elliott concluded Staff recommends First Reading of Ordinance No. <br />1653. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to waive <br />full reading and pass First Reading of Ordinance No. 1653. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1653 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />First Reading COLTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1122 AND SECTION <br />2.48.080 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE REVISING <br />PROBATIONARY PERIOD. <br />Permits <br />City Manager Elliott requested approval of a Parade Permit for the An- <br />nual Colton High School Homecoming Parade, to be held Friday, October <br />28, 1983.
