N <br />D <br />Q <br />Q <br />374 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 20, 1983 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given date at 7:30 P. m., in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />Mayor Huntoon led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. <br />ROT.T. CAT.T., <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and <br />Mayor Huntoon. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamations <br />Mayor Huntoon read in full a Proclamation declaring the week of <br />October 3 through 25, 1983, as Productivity Improvement Week. <br />Mayor Huntoon read in full a Proclamation declaring the month of <br />October, 1983, as Communications Month. <br />Resolutions <br />Mayor Huntoon reported the Council has a Resolution of Commendation <br />for Mr. Nat Alvarez and asked Fire Chief Ron Gemmell to read and <br />present the Resolution. <br />Chief Gemmell commended Chief Nat Alvarez, retiring from the Central <br />Valley Fire Protection District, for his outstanding contributions to <br />SEP - 01983 <br />
