375 <br />County of San Bernardino. <br />Redevelopment Agency <br />Authorization to submit request to Mortgage Bond Allocation <br />Committee, RESOLUTION NO. 4369• <br />Bids <br />Authorization to advertise for Open Bids for the Construction <br />Phase of Assessment District No. 79-1, RESOLUTION NO. 4370. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to ap- <br />prove Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamations <br />Mayor Huntoon read in full a Proclamation declaring the week of Sep- <br />tember 18 through 25, 1983, as Colton Western Days. The Proclama- <br />tion was accepted by Wes Hayden, President of the Colton Western <br />Days Committee. <br />Mayor <br />Councilman Rios read <br />in full a Proclamation <br />declaring the week of <br />N <br />September 18 through <br />24, 1983, as National <br />Cystic Fibrosis Week. <br />Councilwoman Cisneros <br />read in full a Proclamation <br />declaring the <br />Q <br />month of September, <br />1983, as PTA Membership <br />Month. The Proclama- <br />tion was accepted by <br />Mrs. Elaine Hubbard. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Street Maintenance <br />Res. No. 436-6- <br />3 6 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Services Director Joseph McGee reported that the property <br />owners adjacent to the alley between "B" and "C" Streets and 9th and <br />10th Streets presented a petition requesting asphalt paving of the <br />alley pursuant to Chapter 27, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways <br />Code. <br />Mr. McGee stated all the required notices have been sent out to the <br />affected property owners, and a formal affidavit certifying to that <br />effect has been signed and submitted to the City Clerk for the offi- <br />cial records. <br />Mr. McGee concluded Staff would recommend approval of Resolution No. <br />4366, ordering construction of the alley. <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to <br />terminate the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to <br />approve Resolution No. 4366.
