RAMOS, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />Approved this 3rd day of July, 1984. <br />********************* <br />ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 26, 1984 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of <br />the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 6:00 p.m., <br />(\J in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />D ROLL CALL: <br />Q Council Members present were Rios, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Huntoon. Also present <br />were City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards, City Clerk Ramos, Acting Finance <br />Director Andengaard, and Assistant Finance Director Young. Absent was Councilwoman <br />Cisneros. Mayor Huntoon requested that the record reflect that Councilwoman Cisneros <br />has been absent from the Budget Sessions due to illness. <br />Budget <br />RECAP <br />City Attorney Edwards reported that tonight the Council is being asked to review <br />the Budget Recap Report prepared by Staff on all items discussed previously during <br />budget review. Mr. Edwards continued that the following format is being suggested. <br />The first time through the list, there will be no discussion; Council will review <br />each item listed and indicate whether they have questions, if there are questions. <br />that item will be looked at a second time and discussed. Mr. Edwards said those <br />items not having any questions will be deemed approved by Council. <br />City Attorney Edwards stated staff would like to close with instruction from the <br />Council indicating what changes need to be made to the budget. Staff will adjust <br />the budget and bring it back at the next Council Meeting for final approval. Mr. <br />Edwards stated one more short adjourned meeting will be necessary in order to pre- <br />sent to the Council the final adjustments. <br />Mr. Edwards said the Council then has before them, the Recap List, the matter of <br />Department Head Salaries, Proposed Reimbursement for Council Members' Expenses, <br />and an Electric Department Fund Transfer. <br />Budget Transfer <br />Electric Utility <br />City Manager Elliott reported the request for the budget transfer is to purchase <br />the meter reading devices that will interchange with the existing data processing <br />system. Mr. Elliott said the total package is $32,000, there is $19,000 budgeted <br />in the current year's budget and the request is a 83-84 budget amendment to trans- <br />fer the remaining $13,000 from the Electric Utility Salaries Account. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4483.
