20 <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Electric/Agreements <br />City Attorney Edwards stated that Item No. 13 on the Consent Calendar <br />concerns a Letter Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding regarding <br />the development and use of the California -Oregon Transmission Project, <br />and approval of Resolution No. 4536. <br />Mr. Edwards stated there were some minor changes in the Letter Agree- <br />ment, however, he felt there were no problems with adoption of Resolu- <br />tion No. 4536, and Staff would recommend that action. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, approving <br />Letter Agreement and Resolution No. 4536 with regard to California - <br />Oregon Transmission Project. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4536 <br />- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLTON AP- <br />PROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A MEMORANDUM <br />OF UNDERSTANDING DATED AS OF DECEMBER 19, 1984, <br />AND A SUPPLEMENTAL LETTER AGREEMENT RELATED TO <br />THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CALIFORNIA -OREGON TRANS- <br />MISSION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND <br />CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />Housing Policies Report <br />City Attorney Edwards stated he would like to revert back to Item No. <br />16 on the Agenda, the Public Hearing for the Housing Policies Report. <br />Mr. Edwards advised that legally this Public Hearing has to be opened <br />and continued, and this was not done. <br />Mayor Huntoon declared this was the time and place fixed for Public <br />Hearing to consider a Housing Policies Report for the City of Colton. <br />Mayor Huntoon announced the Public Hearing will be continued to Tues- <br />day, March 5, 1985, at 7:30 p. m. <br />Ordinance No. 1672 <br />City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 1672 for Second Reading, <br />reading it as to number and title only: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1672 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />(Second Reading) COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE UNIFORM BUILDING <br />MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, HOUSING, SIGN, ADMINISTRA- <br />TIVE CODES AND THE UNIFORM CODE STANDARDS AND THE <br />UNIFORM CODE FOR ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS <br />AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 1579, 1593, 1601 <br />AND 1612 OF THE CITY OF COLTON AND ALL OTHER ORDI <br />NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to pass Second <br />Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 1672. Unanimous vote. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 9:12 p. m., to discuss <br />Meet and Confer Matters, and reconvened at 9:33 p. m., all Members <br />present. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios and unanimous- <br />ly passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 9:35 p. m. <br />HELEN A.
