Recommend denial. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />the Consent Calendar as modified. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamations <br />Mayor Huntoon read in full a Proclamation declaring February 18 <br />through 25, 1984, as National Future Farmers of America Week. The <br />Proclamation was accepted by Frances Mendoza. <br />Resolution of Commendation <br />Mayor Huntoon read in full a Resolution of Commendation honoring <br />Mikki Fletcher for taking action in time of emergency. The Resolu- <br />tion was accepted by Ms. Fletcher. <br />Mr. Ron Gemmell, Fire Chief and Chairman of the Safety Committee, also <br />advised that Mikki Fletcher's name would be inscribed on a plaque, a- <br />long with the names of other recipients of this award. <br />City Manager Elliott stated the action taken was that CPR had been <br />administered to a car accident victim who had stopped breathing. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Street Maintenance <br />Res. No. 4424 <br />Mavor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and report- <br />ed that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Director of Community Services Joe McGee reported on the alley pav- <br />ing project between 9th and 10th Streets and "B" and "C" Streets, at <br />a total cost of $2,305.81. Mr. McGee advised that all of the requir- <br />ed notices have been sent to the property owners affected. <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, the Public <br />Hearing was terminated.
