Community Services Director Joe McGee also made a presentation to the City Council regarding Claims in connection with Assessment District No. 79-1, recommending the rejection of Claims submitted by Chuck King & Associates, Matt Kurilich, and Paul Y. H. Hsu, and payment to Joseph E. Bonadiman & Associates of $54,692.25, reimbursement to de- velopers and transfer of funds to balance the deficit for funds paid to Willdan & Associates in the amount of $52,951.02, the disbursement of which to be as follows: Etchegoyan Colton Partnership $14,000.00 Airport Commerce Center 6,500.00 Chicago Title 7,000.00 Clurman Company 1,875.00 Presley of Southern California 2,500.00 Transfer to Account 1164-236 to Balance Deficit 21,076.02 ry� TOTAL $52,951.02 `V Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to reject the three Claims in connection with Assessment District No. 79-1, as outlined by Staff. Vote was unanimous. Mr. Matt Kurilich, 919 Bayside Drive, Newport Beach, spoke to the City Council stating he felt they had been treated unfairly, and from now on they will be keeping a close eye on their money with regard to Assessment District No. 79-1 and how it is disbursed. Mr. Kurilich said unfortunately this is not over with yet, as it will be reviewed again in a court of law, and expressed his disappointment over the fact that he had tried, several times, to get in touch with both Mr. Brown and Mr. Elliott, but neither one returned his calls. Tract Files Community Services Director Joe McGee recommended acceptance of Tract No. 9893 with all offers of dedication, which is an 11 lot, single family residential subdivision located on the west side of Bostick Avenue, north of Litton Aven e, in the La Loma Hills area. All bonds and cash fees have been received. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to ac- cept Tract 119893 as outlined by Staff. Unanimous vote.
