Mayor opens public hearings. <br />2. Mayor calls on City Clerk for proof of publication <br />and mailing of notices of hearings. <br />3. Mayor calls for report from Assistant City Manager <br />with regard to the establishment of the proposed <br />Community Facilities District, a brief description <br />of the public services and facilities which will be <br />required to adequately meet the needs of the <br />Community Facilities District and estimates of the <br />costs of providing those public services and <br />facilities. <br />Mayor opens hearings to protests, comments and <br />questions from interested persons, including <br />persons owning property within the proposed <br />Community Facilities District and taxpayers, with <br />respect to the establishment of the Community <br />Facilities District, the proposed method for <br />apportioning and maximum amounts of special taxes, <br />and the proposed bonded indebtedness for the <br />District. <br />Mayor inquires of City Clerk whether any written <br />protests have been received. <br />If written protests have been received, Mayor calls <br />on Assistant City Manager as to whether or not the <br />written protests constitute a majority protest <br />pursuant to Section 53324 of the Government Code. <br />7. Mayor inquires of City Clerk as to whether there <br />are any persons registered to vote within the <br />Community Facilities District, and, if so, the <br />number thereof. <br />8. Mayor inquires of City Clerk if written consents to <br />holding the Community Facilities District elections <br />on January 5, 1988 have been received from all <br />landowners within the Community Facilities <br />District. <br />
