the Community Development Director not be able to make any decisions <br />on minor development issues, except in respect to separate single <br />family residences, and bring all other minor reductions to the Plann- <br />ing Commission for its determination. <br />Mr. Aguilera advised Staff has reviewed the final proposal submitted <br />by the Planning Commission and has found that this proposal would <br />severely impact several important areas. <br />Mr. Aguilera concluded in view of Staff's analysis, it is recommended <br />the Council adopt the initial recommendatin by the Planning Commission, <br />that the DRC be abolished and the Community Development Director make <br />decisions on minor development issues after consultation with key Staff, <br />as outlined in Ordinance No. 0-3-87, Exhibit I (S). <br />Mr. Bruce Gray, 1154 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, member of the Plann- <br />ing Commission, spoke about disbanning the DRC, stating the Planning <br />Commission has no opportunity for reviewing site plans and architec- <br />tural reviews. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, the Public <br />Hearing was terminated.
