Resolution of Support <br />Mayor Gonzales referred to a Resolution of Support for "YOU'VE GOT THE <br />POWER. REGISTER TO VOTE" Week, April 18 - 22, 1988. <br />PUBLIC HEARTNGS! <br />Zoning/Annexations <br />Mayor Gonzales announced the Continuation of the Public Hearing. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting Continuance and <br />reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera reported on the prezoning of <br />Annexation South 44 for 300 acres of land located south of Agua Mansa <br />Road, north and east of the San Bernardino County line, and west of <br />the Colton City limits. Mr. Aguilera advised that the Planning Commis- <br />sion approved the zone designations of M-1, P -F, R-1 and R -E for this <br />property, along with findings, at a public hearing held March 8, 1988. <br />Mr. Aguilera concluded if Council concurs, Staff would recommend passing <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-7-88. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Speaking in favor of the prezoning and proposed annexation were Guy <br />Davny and Janey Anzaldi. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to <br />close the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to <br />waive full reading and pass First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-7-88. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-7-88 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />(First Reading) ORDINANCE NO. 16029 AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR CERTAIN ZONE RECLASSIFICATIONS TO PREZONE <br />PROPOSED ANNEXATION SOUTH 44. <br />C.D.B.G. <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Continuance of the Public Hearing. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera reported on the priority list <br />of the 1988-89 Community Development Block Grant Projects, per coopera- <br />ating Cities agreement with the County of San Bernardino. <br />3 <br />
