Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />R-77-88 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF <br />AN ALLEY BETWEEN VALLEY BOULEVARD AND "H" STREET <br />AND GRAND AVENUE EAST TO THE END. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Civil Service <br />City Manager Benest reviewed his memorandum regarding the Civil Service <br />status for the Community Development Director and the Public Works Di- <br />rector, recommending that the City Council direct the City Attorney to <br />develop the appropriate amendment to the City's Civil Service Ordinance, <br />exempting only the City Manager from Civil Service status. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, directing <br />the City Attorney to prepare an appropriate amendment to the City's <br />Civil Service Ordinance regarding the status of the Community Develop- <br />ment Director and the Public Works Director. Unanimous Vote. <br />Bids <br />Mr. Benest referred to a memorandum regarding award of bid for a riding <br />lawnmower for the Cemetery Division to Pacific Equipment in the amount <br />of $7,732.70. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to award Bid <br />for a riding lawnmower for the Cemetery Division to Pacific Equipment <br />in the amount of $7,732.70.
