tude from the Mill Street residents. <br />Elections <br />Assistant City Manager Leslie Keane reported on the results of the Mello <br />Roos Election, conducted at 5:00 p. m. today in the Office of the City <br />Clerk. Ms. Keane stated the Election was successful with 100% approval, <br />and the bond sale will be done in March or April. <br />Closed Session <br />Mr. Benest requested a Closed Session, on Personnel Matters, at the <br />end of the meeting. <br />CTTY ATTORNEY' R RRPnRTR ANT) RRrnMMVWnATTnNq <br />Five Cities Funding <br />City Attorney Edwards reported from his memorandum regarding a request <br />from the Five Cities for additional funding for the cost of Litigation. <br />Mr. Edwards stated the additional amount of $5,000 can be taken from <br />the Council Contingency Fund. <br />Councilwoman Garcia asked if the City is going to be asked for more <br />money in the future for this matter. <br />City Manager Benest responded this matter should be resolved within <br />the next few months. <br />Councilwoman Cisneros asked if the City has received any form of report <br />showing where this money is going. <br />Mr. Benest answered yes, the City has a breakdown of the monies spent. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, approving and <br />authorizing payment in the amount of $5,000 to Five Cities for cost of <br />Litigation. Unanimous vote. <br />Recess <br />The City Council recessed at 8:05 p.m., to take up the business of the <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, and reconvened at 8:13 p.m. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 8:14 p.m., to discuss <br />Personnel Matters, pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, and re- <br />convened at 9:07 p.m., all Members present. <br />AD.TnTTRNMENT <br />4 <br />
