Recommend denial. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve <br />the Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Weed Abatement <br />Res. No. R-61-88 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported that <br />no protests or objections had been received. <br />Public Works Director John Hutton reported the contractor has satisfac- <br />torily completed the Annual Weed Abatement Project with a total number <br />of 314 parcels abated at a cost of $21,397. <br />Mr. Hutton stated if there are insufficient protests at the close of <br />this hearing, Staff would recommend approval of Resolution No. R-61-88. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to close the <br />Public Hearing.
