Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-61-88. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />R-61-88 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE STREET <br />SUPERINTENDENT ON COST OF ABATING NUISANCE. <br />Historic & Scenic Preservation Commission <br />Res. No. R-62-88 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera submitted the Affidavit of Post- <br />ing and reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Mr. Aguilera read his memorandum regarding approval of designating a <br />house located at 736 North La Cadena Drive as an historic property in <br />the City of Colton, as recommended by the Historic and Scenic Preserva- <br />tion Commission, and as outlined in Resolution No. R-62-88. <br />Mr. Aguilera stated if Council concurs, Staff would recommend approval <br />of Resolution No. R-62-88. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to close the <br />Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-62-88. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-62-88 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON PROVIDING <br />FOR THE DESIGNATION OF AN HISTORIC PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 736 NORTH LA CADENA DRIVE. <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Street Closure <br />Public Works Director John Hutton reported that the Fire Marshall and <br />Street Superintendent have recommended Indigo and Woodpine Streets be <br />closed until the area is developed further. At this time there is no <br />development along these streets and the public has been using the streets <br />as dumping grounds, and Staff feels this will increase with the dump <br />closure on July 1, 1988. <br />Mr. Hutton concluded Staff recommends the Council approve the closure <br />of Indigo and Woodpine Streets until the area is further developed. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve <br />Staff's recommendation regarding closure of Indigo and Woodpine Streets. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />3 <br />
