Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to pass Second Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 0-4-88. Unanimous vote. Ordinance No. 0-5-88 Second Reading City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 0-5-88 for Second Reading, reading it as to number and title only: ORDINANCE NO. 0-5-88 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING (Second Reading) SECTION 6.34.040c OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING LICENSES FOR SALE OF FIREWORKS. Pastor Ted David of the United Pentecostal Church spoke to the Council requesting that this Ordinance be modified allowing past participants to be "grandfathered" in and that the allocation to churches be modified to allow for more participation. Staff requested that they be allowed to try this Ordinance as prepared and presented for one year. Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to pass Second Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 0-5-88. Unanimous vote. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Mr. Bruce Bennett, 728 Atchison, thanked the City Council and Staff for adopting an ordinance prohibiting truck parking in residential areas. RECESS: The City Council recessed at 8:18 p. m., to take up the business of the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, and reconvened at 8:20 p. m., all Members present. CLOSED SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 8:21 p. m., to discuss Personnel Matters, pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, and re- convened at 9:12 p. m., all Members present.
