City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 0-4-88 for Second Reading, <br />reading it as to number and title only: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-4-88 - ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />(Second Reading) COLTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 0-11-87. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to pass <br />Second Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 0-4-88. Unanimous vote. <br />Ordinance No. 0-5-88 <br />Second Reading <br />City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 0-5-88 for Second Reading, <br />reading it as to number and title only: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-5-88 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />(Second Reading) SECTION 6.34.040c OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br />PROVIDING LICENSES FOR SALE OF FIREWORKS. <br />Pastor Ted David of the United Pentecostal Church spoke to the Council <br />requesting that this Ordinance be modified allowing past participants <br />to be "grandfathered" in and that the allocation to churches be modified <br />to allow for more participation. <br />Staff requested that they be allowed to try this Ordinance as prepared <br />and presented for one year. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to pass <br />Second Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 0-5-88. Unanimous vote. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Bruce Bennett, 728 Atchison, thanked the City Council and Staff <br />for adopting an ordinance prohibiting truck parking in residential <br />areas. <br />RECESS: <br />The City Council recessed at 8:18 p. m., to take up the business of <br />the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, and reconvened at <br />8:20 p. m., all Members present. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 8:21 p. m., to discuss <br />Personnel Matters, pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, and re- <br />convened at 9:12 p. m., all Members present. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios and unani- <br />mously passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:13 p. m., to <br />5 <br />
