No. R-34-88 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Personnel Officer Benest submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />City Manager Benest reported on amendments to the City's Pay and Classi- <br />fication Plan for positions in the Public Works Department, of Engineer- <br />ing Specialist and Engineering Technician I and II, and the Community <br />Development Department, of Building Inspector I and II and Principal <br />Planner. Mr. Benest reviewed the need and justification for these posi- <br />tions, and the duties and salary ranges. <br />Mr. Benest concluded if Council concurs, Staff would recommend adoption <br />of the job descriptions and Resolution No. R-34-88, amending the City's <br />Pay and Classification Plan. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to close <br />the Public Hearing.
