RESOLUTION NO. R-34-88 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-160-87. <br />Text Amendment <br />Ord. No. 0-16-88 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Development Director Jaime Aguilera stated this Text Amend- <br />ment concerns an amendment to Section 18.16.120 (D), Chapter 18.16, <br />Title 18, of the Colton Municipal Code and Ordinance No. 1602, relating <br />to landscaping, which will read - Maintenance. Required landscaping <br />shall be maintained in a neat, clean and healthful condition for the <br />duration of occupancy of the building. <br />Mr. Aguilera concluded if Council concurs, Staff would recommend passing <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-16-88. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to close <br />the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to waive <br />full reading and pass First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-16-88. Vote <br />was unanimous. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-16-88 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />(First Reading) THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE, SECTION 18.16.120(D). <br />Park & Recreational Fees <br />Ord. No. 0-17-88 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Assistant City Manager Keane submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Assistant City Manager Leslie Keane reported on a proposed ordinance to <br />extend the interim authorization enacted by Ordinance No. 0-11-88, re- <br />quiring the dedication of land or payment of in lieu fees for Park and <br />Recreational purposes. Ms. Keane advised Ordinance No. 0-11-88 will ex- <br />pire on May 5, 1988, however, it is possible for the Council to extend <br />this ordinance for an additional thirty days, until such time as Ordi- <br />nance No. 0-10-88 becomes effective. <br />4 <br />
