ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 22, 1988 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular <br />Meeting of the City Council was held on the above given date at 6:00 <br />p.,m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />The Flag Salute was led by the U. S. Marine Corps Color Guard. <br />Invocation was offered by Pastor_ Stephen Anderson, Healing Waters <br />Church. <br />R n T.T. r A T.T. <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor <br />Gonzales. Also present were City Manager Benest, City Attorney Edwards, <br />and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CANVASS OF ELECTION: <br />City Attorney Edwards read Resolution No. R-120-88, declaring the results <br />of the General Municipal Election held Tuesday, November 8, 1988. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-120-88. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />R-120-88 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF THE <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON <br />NOVEMBER 8, 1988, DECLARING THE RESULT THEREOF <br />AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY THE PRO- <br />VISIONS OF LAW. <br />Mayor Gonzales presented to Councilwoman Garcia a plaque and bouquet of <br />flowers, thanking her for her many years of service as a Councilmember <br />for the City. <br />Councilwoman Garcia thanked all those that voted for her and said she <br />was not leaving, she would still be around and remain active in the <br />political field. <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br />The Oath of Office was administered by Deputy City Clerk Jane Veralrud to <br />Frank Gonzales, Mayor; Leroy Rehrer, Councilman; Max J. Lofy, Councilman; <br />Helen A. Ramos, City Clerk; and Michael J. Williams, City Treasurer. <br />CERTIFICATES OF ELECTION: <br />City Clerk Ramos issued the Certificates of Election to each Official. <br />
