(7) Personnel <br />Adopt new Job Description for the position of Fire Chief. <br />(8) Contracts <br />Request approval for Tri County to repair Street Pump in the <br />amount of $5,800, urgency matter. <br />(9) Special Districts <br />Authorization to sell Parcel 2, Parcel Map #12446, to Colton <br />Joint Unified School District per Community Facilities District <br />No. 89-1 Agreement, Cooley Ranch Elementary School Site. (Re- <br />moved from the Consent Calendar) <br />(10) Claims <br />Patricia Price, Mildred Tantardini, versus the City of Colton. <br />Recommend denial. <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve <br />the Consent Calendar, with deletion of Item No. 9. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Resolutions <br />Resolutions of Commendation were read in full by Councilwoman Cisneros <br />honoring Police officer Joe Gutierrez and Police Service Dog "Cello", <br />by Councilman Roman honoring Police officer William Burrows and Police <br />Service Dog "Tasso", by Mayor Gonzales honoring Police Officer Victor <br />Paul and Police Service Dog "Dack", and by Councilman Lofy honoring <br />Police Service Dog "Dack" Canine German Shepherd. <br />Captain Stratton also presented to Police officer Victor Paul a Service <br />Award Medal honoring the Canine German Shepherd Police Service Dog <br />"Dack" upon his retirement, due to declining health, after approximate- <br />ly eight years of service with the City of Colton. <br />Mr. Charles Gabriel, President of Redlands Federal Bank, donated a check <br />in the amount of $1,500, towards the purchase of a new Police Service <br />Dog. <br />Captain Stratton advised that Stater Bros. has also donated an amount <br />of $1,000, towards the purchase of a new Police Service Dog, which costs <br />approximately $6,000. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Extension on Zone Change <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Continuance of the Public Hearing. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting Continuance and re- <br />ported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera reported on a request from <br />0C <br />2 <br />
