Unanimous vote. <br />SCAG <br />Mayor Gonzales stated appointments to SCAG will be left open at this time <br />and made at a later date. <br />Inland Vallev Development Aaenc <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Roman, appointing <br />Mayor Gonzales as Member and Councilman Lofy as Alternate to the In- <br />land Valley Development Agency. Unanimous vote. <br />East Valley Airport/Land Use Commission <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, reappoint- <br />ing Councilman Rehrer to the East Valley Airport/Land Use Commission. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Mr. Eugene P. McMeans, 2025 South Glenwood Avenue, stated he wanted to <br />speak on the previous item - Appointments to various Committees. <br />Mayor Gonzales stated that item was not a public hearing, it concerned <br />appointments made by the Councilmembers themselves, and did not require <br />public input. <br />Vietnam Veterans Memorial <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Roman, approving <br />relocation of Vietnam Veterans Memorial to Fleming Park as requested. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Mr. Richard Moyeda, Jr., 1197 North La Cadena Drive, Vice Commander of <br />VFW Post #6476, stated this is a joint project of the VFW, American Legion, <br />Military Order of the Purple Heart, and Catholic War Veterans. Mr. <br />Moyeda said that the high school youth became involved with this project <br />also. Mr. Moydea concluded the plaque will contain approximately 13 names <br />of those men killed in Vietnam. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Appeal <br />Kencor Corporation <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Deputy City Clerk Veralrud submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported a letter dated December 18, 1990, together with Petition, from <br />Concerned Citizens of Colton, was received in opposition. <br />4 0 -I s 1990 <br />
