Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Fifth Annual Tour de Terrace <br />Mayor Gonzales presented request from the City of Grand Terrace for <br />permission to tour our City on Sunday, October 7, 1990.. The tour is <br />not a race. <br />Moved by Councilman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Lofy, to grant <br />permission for Grand Terrace to include the City of Colton in their <br />tour. Unanimous vote. <br />Public Power Week <br />Mayor Gonzales stated the City Council proclaimed the week of <br />October 7-13, 1990 as Public Power Week. The Colton Electric Utility <br />will hold an "Open House" on October 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., <br />residents and businesses are welcome to attend. An information booth <br />will be set up at City Hall for the general public. <br />Mr. Gale Drews, Electric Utility Director, presented Public Power <br />T-shirts to Council Members. <br />Proclamations <br />Mayor Gonzales read in full a Proclamation declaring October 7-13, <br />1990, as Fire Prevention Week. <br />Fire Chief Ron Gemmell introducted Rhonda Curtis, Fire Inspector. <br />Chief Gemmell stated that Rhonda has been most effective in working <br />with the community on fire prevention activities which will be <br />occuring within the City. <br />T 2 l <br />2 <br />
