Contract <br />Councilman Lofy requested that the item regarding the contract with Ed <br />Temby be brought back after the Executive Session. A brief discussion <br />followed as to need. Councilman Rios indicated that.he wanted the <br />record to show that he was opposed to delaying open discussion on this <br />item. <br />On Council consensus, the matter to consider the contract with Ed Temby <br />was moved to item 24A. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Fees <br />Parking & Traffic <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Captain Stratton informed the Council that Resolution No. 4373 which <br />established bail amounts on parking citations was approved in September <br />of 1983. The Traffic Committee reviewed and compared the Traffic <br />Ordinance Bail with surrounding cities. The Committee determined <br />the City's bail schedule needed to be increased to bring us in line <br />with the existing standard of the San Bernardino County Bail Schedule <br />for Parking Violations. <br />Captain Stratton recommended that the City Council increase the <br />the Traffic Ordinance fees as set forth in Exhibit A of the Agenda <br />Material, set a fee of $50 for violation of Section No. 10.04.105 and <br />and to modify Item #3 of Resolution No. 4373 to read as follows: <br />11$15 penalty fee for violators that fail to appear after the tenth <br />day following the court appearance date set on citation." <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rios, to close the <br />Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Lofy, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-112-90. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO.
