Mr. John Reichel, 43 Hillgrass, Irvine, stated he has provided the
City and City Council with his letter dated April 16, 1991. Every-
thing has been reviewed by his attorney and on his advice he is re-
questing the City Council pass a motion to approve the Blocked Areas
on pages 1 and 2 of the April 16, letter.
Mr. Reichel stated the letter simplifies the actions required of him
and the City. The first is to have the City honor the 1989 Sub-
division Agreement. At this time he is not free to discuss the Park
Improvements which will be implemented. The City must first pass the
motion as outlined in the letter.
Moved by Mayor Gonzales, seconded by Council Member Roman, to approve
the three blocked areas of John Reichel's letter dated April 16, 1991,
subject Dedication of Park Land. Unanimous vote.
Mr. Reichel thanked everyone and stated he was an honorable man and
he will address the Park Improvements after the motions passed are
implemented. It is expected to have everything fully implemented
in two weeks.
Mr. Reichel stated the motion items should be completed in a few
days as his attorney has prepared drafts of the Grant Deed, Park
Agreement and Detention Basin, all of which, have been forwarded
to the City for review. As soon as the first step is final, he will
do Step 2 and hopes to continue doing business with the City with
the same friendship as in the past.
ADJOURNMENT:
Moved by Council Member Cisneros, seconded by Council Member Roman,
and unanimously passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at
1:11 a.m.
HELEN A. RAMOS, CMC
City Clerk
City of Colton
12
AP R 16 1991
