Civil Service Findings and Recommendations on Maylon City Attorney Edwards advised the matter of the Civil Service will be presented under Closed Session. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Mr. George Fulp, 1497 Cindee Lane, stated that at the last City Council meeting the Council authorized reconsideration of the Wyatt Construction Project. Mr. Fulp said the Council already heard the matter once and the people concerned voiced their objections; now the Council is going through the process over again because of Wyatt's appeal. Mr. Fulp stated the Council should consider enacting a rule that would prohibit appealing a Council decision within one year of such action. Director Aguilera stated the decision of the City Council was to waive the appeal fees which were approximately $1,500 because it was felt that Mr. Wyatt had made changes to the project that could answer some of the concerns of the opposing residents. Mr. Aguilera said the appeal would be heard before the Planning Commission at a Public Hearing, proper legal notices will be sent within a 300 ft radius of property involved. Mi Council Member Cisneros requested that the Minutes of February 5, 1991 Page 5, File Index DT-64-90/Wyatt Construction, reflect her comments on the matter. Council Member Cisneros stated there was no need for clarification. The people had clearly voiced their objection and the Council had unanimously voted to deny the appeal. The City Council recessed at 8:32 p.m., to take up the business of the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, and reconvened at 8:53 p.m., all Members present.
