Vote <br />City Manager Sotelo requested a Closed Session at the end of the Council <br />Meeting. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Mike Williams, 940 South Willow, Rialto, spoke to the Councilmembers <br />regarding a proposed nuclear waste dump in the Needles area, near the. <br />Colorado River, which will contain radio active material and waste. Mr. <br />Williams stated this could increase the risk of cancer and it will be <br />near the California Aquaduct, which supplies water to Southern California. <br />Mr. Williams stated that he obtained a copy of the Environmental Impact <br />Report on this proposed project, and would be happy to give the City of <br />Colton the necessary information to obtain the Report. Mr. Williams con- <br />cluded he would urge the City of Colton to make investigations on this <br />matter. <br />Recess <br />The City Council recessed at 8:12 p.m., to take up the business of the <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, and reconvened at 8:16 p.m., <br />all Members present. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 8:16 p. m., to discuss <br />Personnel Matters, pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, and Liti- <br />gation, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a), and reconvened <br />at 9:15 p. m., all Members present. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Lofy and unanimous- <br />ly passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the Meeting at 9:15 p. m. <br />144 0.75 02-- - <br />HELEN A.
