COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 90-1 (MT. <br />VERNON CORRIDOR) OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA, AND <br />WAIVING CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH IN A <br />FUNDING, CONSTRUCTION AND ACQUISITION AGREE- <br />MENT RELATING TO SAID COMMUNITY FACILITIES <br />DISTRICT. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-19-91 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF <br />REAL PROPERTY FOR USE AS A MUNICIPAL PARKING <br />FACILITY AND ACCEPTING SUCH PROPERTY ON BEHALF <br />OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 90-1 <br />(MT. VERNON CORRIDOR) OF THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />Roads & Highway Claim/SB 325 <br />City Manager Sotelo reported the City of Colton's allocation share <br />of the Local Transportation Fund has been determined to be $234,522. <br />In order to receive these funds for utilization on Colton's streets <br />and roads, the City Council needs to adopt a resolution and direct <br />staff to submit the TDA Article 8a claim and that is staff's <br />recommendation. <br />Moved by Council Member Rehrer, seconded by Council Member Roman, to <br />adopt Resolution No. R-20-91 and direct staff to submit the TDA <br />Article 8a Claim. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-20-91 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING A CLAIM FOR SB -325 <br />ROADS AND HIGHWAY FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Manager Sotelo requested a Closed Session at the end of the <br />meeting for the pupose of Personnel Matters and Litigation. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Inland Valley Development Agency <br />City Attorney Edwards reported the Inland Valley Development Agency <br />(IVDA) is a party to several lawsuits. Included are lawsuits filed <br />by San Bernardino Unified School District and by the County Superin- <br />tendent of Schools, these cases have been settled to the satisfaction <br />of IVDA. Attorney Edwards stated the settlement is described in <br />in the documents included in the Council packet. The documents <br />include a letter from Sabo & Green, Attorneys for IVDA, requesting that <br />Colton City Council approve signing the attached "Stipulation for <br />Entry of Judgement". The attached resolution approves the execution <br />of the "Stipulation for Entry of Judgement", adoption is recommended. <br />7 <br />
