If the Council wishes to proceed <br />with the annexation effort, it will be necessary to address the sewer <br />issue to the satisfaction of the area property owners. The City's <br />committment to provide a main sewer line into the annexed area, per <br />the City's Sewer Master Plan would be the best alternative. <br />Mr. Aguilera recommended that Council approve the intent of the City <br />to provide sewer service to the area referred to as Annexation <br />South 44. <br />Moved by Mayor Gonzales, seconded by Council Member Roman to approve <br />staff's recommendation. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-36-91 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON TO PROVIDE FOR SEWER SERVICE <br />TO THE ANNEXATION AREA SOUTH 44 (LAFCO <br />2660). <br />Lease Agreement with Adams Advertising <br />Community Development Director Aguilera requested that Item 25 be <br />continued to May 28, 1991 as the party involved in the lease <br />agreement is ill. Upon Council consensus, Item 25 was continued. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Closed Session <br />City Manager Sotelo requested a Closed Session at the end of the <br />meeting for the purpose of Personnel Matters and Litigation. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Ordinance No. 0-5-91 <br />(Second Reading) <br />City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 0-5-91 for Second <br />Reading, reading ordinance in full as waiver of full reading not <br />passed when introduced for First Reading. <br />Council Member Lofy requested input from Mr. Dawson, Executive Vice - <br />President, Colton Chamber of Commerce regarding the increase in <br />fees. <br />Mr. Dawson stated he had not received any reaction from the community <br />as to the increase and he had no feelings either way. <br />Moved by Council Member Lofy, seconded by Council Member Cisneros, <br />to adopt Ordinance No. 0-5-91.
