(8 ) Claims Dorothy Weilage vs. City of Colton. Recommend denial. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to ap- prove the Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: Appointments to Councilmanic District Committee City Manager Stratton advised the Initiative proponents have selected three members to represent them on the Boundary Review Committee, and the City Council must also select three representatives. Mrs. Stratton stated it is anticipated the consultant and Committee will finish the boundary indentif ication process prior to the City Council Meeting of December 17, 1991. City Manager Stratton recommended each Councilmember submit 5 names - 3 for the Committee plus 2 Alternates. Each Councilmember then submitted five names by written ballot. CLOSED SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 7:40 p. m., to discuss Litigation Matters, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b)(1), and reconvened at 8:13 p. m., all Members present. Boundary Review Committee City Manager Stratton recommended the appointment of Duane Sharp, Margaret Matich, Charles Gabriel, and Jerry Rios as Alternate. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Lofy, to ratify the appointment of representatives for the City Council to the Boundary Review Committee. Unanimous vote. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Annexations Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. Community Development Director Aguilera stated the Local Agency Forma- tion Commission approved the annexation of South 44, an area encompass- ing 650 acres in Agua Mansa, to the City of Colton.
