(8 ) Claims <br />Dorothy Weilage vs. City of Colton. Recommend denial. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to ap- <br />prove the Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Appointments to Councilmanic District Committee <br />City Manager Stratton advised the Initiative proponents have selected <br />three members to represent them on the Boundary Review Committee, and <br />the City Council must also select three representatives. <br />Mrs. Stratton stated it is anticipated the consultant and Committee will <br />finish the boundary indentif ication process prior to the City Council <br />Meeting of December 17, 1991. <br />City Manager Stratton recommended each Councilmember submit 5 names - <br />3 for the Committee plus 2 Alternates. <br />Each Councilmember then submitted five names by written ballot. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 7:40 p. m., to discuss <br />Litigation Matters, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b)(1), <br />and reconvened at 8:13 p. m., all Members present. <br />Boundary Review Committee <br />City Manager Stratton recommended the appointment of Duane Sharp, <br />Margaret Matich, Charles Gabriel, and Jerry Rios as Alternate. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Lofy, to ratify <br />the appointment of representatives for the City Council to the Boundary <br />Review Committee. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Annexations <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera stated the Local Agency Forma- <br />tion Commission approved the annexation of South 44, an area encompass- <br />ing 650 acres in Agua Mansa, to the City of Colton.
