R-85-92. <br />Motion by Councilmember Cisneros, seconded by Councilmernber Roman, to accept and <br />approve the Consent Calendar, except for Item No. 9 which has been removed from the <br />Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Mayor Gonzales acknowledged receipt of a letter dated July 15, 1992 from Messrs Russell <br />W. Mills and Thomas E. Basharn regarding the retention of Mr. Brooks London as buyout <br />consultant. <br />Mr. Bill Kalogonis, 700 E. Washington, Space 241, indicated he was a member of the <br />steering committee dealing with the park conversion. Mr. Brooks London has separated from <br />Pacific Parks Associates, As spokesman for the park residents, Mr. Kalogonis related that <br />Pacific Parks has not bothered to send anyone to confer with the residents individually. Two <br />of their representatives have only attended two meetings. On the other hand, most of the <br />park residents are happy with Mr. London. He is considerate of their views and he has the <br />residents' vote of support. <br />Mr. Russell W. Mills, 700 E. Washington, Space 145, stated he spoke for the whole <br />contingency of residents and expressed concerned about pulling Mr. Brooks London from the <br />conversion plan which would be detrimental to their efforts. <br />PUBLIC HEARING: <br />Historic Ordinance <br />(This item is removed from Agenda.) <br />3 <br />j .i <br />
