DISCUSSION <br />Item 12 <br />Mr. Fred Cordova, 190 W E Street, declared that the Utilities <br />commission supported this action 1.00%. He commended the City <br />Council for its vote which shows that the City of Colton is a team <br />player. <br />Motion by Councilmember Beltran, seconded by Councilmember Rios, to <br />approve the resolution of 'membership in Fare. He <br />recalled that on a prior occasion the requirement had been waived <br />with the applicant allowed to underfill the position until he <br />obtained a bachelor's degree thus fulfilling the requirement. <br />Having discussed the matter with. Acting Public Works Director <br />Hutton, he found. Mr. Hutton could obtain a degree from. 6 months to <br />a year. He has an LSIT. It would be in the City`s best interest <br />if Mr. Hutton obtained a decree.
