COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 2,°1393 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of the City Nall, MaVor Gonzales <br />presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of ,allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was Offered by Chaplain Glen Harris. <br />ROLL GLIM: <br />Councilrnembers present were Bennett, Sandoval, Rios, Cisneros, Cook, Beltran and <br />Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Manager Lewis, Cit} Attorney Brown and <br />City Clerk Ramos, <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />There is no discussion. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />Firing <br />Mr. Fred Cordova, 130 West E Street, declared the City of Calton as a City of <br />controversy. He pointed to rumors circulating about the possible firing of a certain <br />department bead. He believed this action to be totally wrong as this department head <br />is an employee with 22 years of service and who has garnered many outstanding <br />service records. He described the department head as one of the most willing to <br />listen to you and the most willing to Delp, <br />Rancho Mediterrania Park Conversion <br />Mr. William Kalogonis, 700 East Washington, stated he was frustrated and unhappy <br />about the lack of progress in this project. He decried the lacy of action and lacy of <br />communication. Most especially he complained about the time frames being extended <br />1 <br />
