Calling attention to Page 8 of February 2nd <br />mutes, . Sennett identified a motion unanimously approved by the City Council <br />for in-depth study at a future date. She questioned why one councilmember has the <br />authority to bring the item before the council, City Manager Lewis replied that staff <br />and the City Council honors any request of any single councilrnernber. <br />Motion by Councilmember Sandoval to continue Resolution No. R-04-98 <br />for in-depth study failed for lack of a second. <br />Councilmember Cisneros suggested time for study as there are questions she has <br />received regarding this subject, <br />Councilmember Beltran removed his request to include this item on tonight's agenda <br />and moved that the matter be addressed at the next City Council fleeting to be held <br />February 23, 1998. mayor Gonzales polled the Council and each Councilmember <br />approved. <br />RECESS: <br />At 8;48 P. M., the meeting is convened; all members are present as heretofore. <br />PUBL1 COMMENT: <br />Parks, Recre@tion & Human Services Director: <br />Mr. Philip flava expressed concern about a comment made by Mr. Ken Herron, A <br />former member of the Colton Boxing Club and volunteer coach, he has known a <br />number of department directors and found Ken Herron to be outstanding.
