the future, all future temporary employees should come from the <br />eligibility list. <br />Moved by Councilmember Sandoval, seconded by Councilmember Bennett, <br />to approve Resolution R-91-93 with an amendment to .include language <br />requiring that all future temporary employees will by hired only <br />from an existing eligibility list. Motion passed. Unanimous vote <br />Item. 14 <br />Mr. Leo Fuller, Fuller & Associates, stated he is a mobile home <br />dealer and financing broker and he wanted to thank the City Council <br />and the Redevelopment Agency for the action with regard to <br />conversion of the Rancho Mediterrania Mobile Nome Park. The action <br />has brought rents down, delayed foreclosures and is generally <br />helping a lot of good, hard working families who want to keep their <br />homes. The value of the action is that it is sending a message to <br />other park owners that Colton is looking out for its citizenry. <br />Councilmember Sandoval said he has seen a tremendous change at the <br />Rancho Mediterrania Mobile Home Park, all for the good. Moved by <br />Councilmember Sandoval, seconded by Councilmember Cisneros, to <br />approve full waiver of Rancho Mediterrania Mobilehome Park <br />Conversion Parcel. Map, Tentative. and Final Map. Motion carried. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR & COUNCIL ITEMS <br />Presentation from CMI to the Cit <br />Mr. Dave Thornburg, OMI Waste 'dater Operations Contractor, stated <br />that like the City, OMI is very much interested in the best value, <br />best cost theory and that DMI and the City en oyed a vera amiable <br />and cooperative service relation. The City contracts with OMI on <br />a yearly basis for maintenance and operation of the suer plant and <br />this past year, due to some i.novative maintenance repairs, there <br />was a cost savings realized. Mr. Thornburg presented the Mayor and <br />City Council with a large check in the amount of $23,584 <br />representing a rebate on the annual contract. The Council <br />expressed its appreciata.tion for the reimbursement. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />General Plan <br />Magor Gonzales announced that this was the Time and Pace Fixed to <br />Consider Approval of the Long Range Developer Impact Fee Program. <br />Magor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk, Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported that no written protests or objections had been received. <br />5 <br />
